It’s that time of year already, when many of us begin planning our activities for the new year and when the Far Northeast Training Board hosts local planning meetings. We are proposing a two-part process again this year.

The first round of meetings will be held virtually and will involve a review of the most recent local labour market information.  The second series of meetings will take place in November and will include a mix of in-person and virtual meetings to discuss local labour market priorities for the production of the FNETB’s Local Labour Market Plan update.

Please register for Part 1 by Monday, October 27, 2023. Once registered, we will send you a confirmation along with a document containing the data that will be discussed during the meeting.  Please take the time to read through the document prior to attending the meeting, note your comments and observations, and come prepared to share your input about the specific conditions of the labour market in your community.  We look forward to a productive discussion with you and other local stakeholders.

Who should attend?

Employment counsellors, job developers, employment and training program managers, educators and trainers, employers, community and government leaders and stakeholders. Anyone interested in finding out more about labour market priorities and some of the local strategies to address those priorities.
