Aboriginal Alcohol and Drug Worker Program

Offers support to Aboriginal individuals who have or had alcohol or drug addiction issues.

• Provides culturally sensitive services and support to address drug and alcohol issues and to prevent or minimize the negative effects of addictive substance
• Promotes healthy lifestyle and offers alternatives to alcohol, drugs and solvents through family and community-based activities and events
• Provides referrals to other community organizations and treatment centres
• Offers an after-care support program for individuals who have returned from a treatment centre
